Coding Games for Kids & Adults with Scratch for beginners
This coding program is designed for anyone interested knowing how to instruct the computer for it to perform certain functions and produce some expected result. The approach adopted in this program is a combination of lectures, hand-on project work and technical support sessions.
You don’t need to have any prior experience in Programming, Information Technology or Computer Science. Just the basic working knowledge of computers is all that you need.
Classes are organized based age groups, depending on the number of participants:
Flower - Age 9-12years
Lily - Age 12-14years
Marigold - Age 15-17years
Poppy - Age 18-20years
Rose - Age 21 and above
What are the expected outcomes?
- In this course, you will learn how to code using games
- You will code 10 real-life projects
- Dedicated one-on-one technical support to assist you in resolving errors that arise while working on any of the projects.
- Additionally, you'll be given lifetime access to a private Discord server where we'll continue to discuss the topics of this mentoring program, both with me and among the alumni. This is going to be a very dense program in terms of information.
- To ensure a high level of interaction, each cohort will have a maximum of 30 people.
- Dedicated technical support will be provided three times a week via Zoom for 30 minutes to assist you in troubleshooting any issues that arise while working on any of the projects.
What are the requirements?
Laptop
A minimum of 8 GB of RAM, a 1.8 GHz processor, and a hard drive with a capacity of 250 GB or more is required.
Notebook
A notebook is required to enable you to write notes during classes and your challenges that need further attention.
Grit
The commitment to start and stay through to the very end of the course is a major requirement.
